Fauji Ki Paathshala and C.P. Goenka International have teamed up to launch a new initiative, Valour - The Academy of Brave Hearts, to empower students with a sense of patriotism and leadership.

The inauguration ceremony was held at C.P Goenka International School campus at Kapurbawdi, Thane. Philanthropist, Samajratna Dr. Nanjibhai Khimjibhai Thakkar Thanawala inaugurated the academy in the presence of the School's management team, teachers, parents and students.

To begin with, the Academy will offer a three years training programme. Both boys and girls of class VI, VII, VIII and IX across schools in Kalwa, Thane, Mumbra and Airoli (Navi Mumbai) will be eligible to join the programme.

The training programme is based on the principles of Military Ethos, Adventure and Experiential Learning techniques. The purpose of this training programme is to equip students:

  - With an exposure of the Life in Indian Armed Forces

  - With life skills and leadership qualities

  - With exposure of the competitive world

  - With an optimistic attitude to face challenges in life
